Welcome to the ocean learning zone

Scotland's geography, culture, history and economy is profoundly shaped by the waters around us. As the UK's oldest ocean research and education charity, we share our knowledge and passion for the marine environment with learners of all ages. 

We have many resources for nursery, primary and secondary level learners that we can deliver at our facilities in Oban or in local schools, community spaces or events. We also develop bespoke resources to support school projects and run longer-term projects that engage learners with core topics.
